Our Milestones

CMD Services, Inc. was founded in Atlanta in 1986 by Mark and Chris Nedza.  Over the past 25 years, we have become the most innovative data driven integrated marketing communications company.  Here are some notable milestones in our company’s history:
  • 1986 – CMD founded in 4,500 sq. ft. facility with activity based cost allocation as a strategic direction and advantage.  We were early adapters of generating activity based costing for financial roll-up reporting.  A service that our customers enjoy today.
  • 1991 – Developed 1st web based order management system in the industry by utilizing MCI Mail as an automated order process for MCI
  • 1991 – Installed 1st Xerox Docutech digital printing equipment  in Atlanta
  • 1992 – CMD named #292 on Inc. 500 list of fastest growing private companies in the U.S.
  • 1997 – Managed the production and distribution of all communications for UPS management during UPS strike negotiations
  • 1998 – Built world class logistics facility designed under the guidance of the Georgia Tech Logistics Institute
  • 2000 – Became largest Xerox Print on Demand installation in South East
  • 2000 – Managed launch of Cingular Wireless communications material to 23,000 locations
  • 2002 – Developed on-line OFI (Opportunity for Improvement) system for managing Total Quality Management System
  • 2003 – Began ISO-9001 certification process
  • 2004 – CMD Services, Inc. receives ISO-9001 certification
  • 2010 – CMD partners with ZeeZor Management Solutions for adding cross media and business intelligence tools to CMD and it’s customers
  • 2011 – CMD partners continuing investment in cross media platform by adding Xerox XMPie fully integrated marketing suite
